The visit to Cherry Poppers presented a busy, energetic dessert spot with a lot going on in a relatively small space. With around ten guests and four staff present, the shop felt active from the moment of arrival, though at times it also felt crowded enough that some guests appeared uncomfortable staying inside. Menu variety was easily one of the strongest parts of the experience. Cherry Poppers offered a wide selection of ice cream flavours, milkshakes, floats, brownies, banana splits, cookies, ice cream sandwiches, cinnamon rolls, and other dessert options. The range gave the business a clear advantage, especially for guests looking for choice. Product quality was more mixed. The ice cream was fairly average, while the brownie was soft, gooey, and clearly above standard, though not quite exceptional. Staff were friendly and visibly busy throughout the visit, but service had a few slips. The wrong order was brought to the table at first, and staff later asked if food was still being waited on after the meal had already been finished. There was also an unusual moment where a staff member sprayed perfume towards an older guest who had been wandering around the shop, which added to the slightly chaotic feel of the visit. With a Spotlight Score of 7.7 and a Recommended rating, Cherry Poppers earns its score through strong menu variety, fair pricing, and pleasant staff. However, the crowded atmosphere, service mistakes, and slightly strange moments inside the shop kept the experience from feeling as polished as it could be.
